Welcome! اهلاً وسهلاً! Bienvenue!
I'm Racha Affara, a licensed psychologist dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey towards self-discovery and healing.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique experiences and challenges. Whether it's dealing with anxiety, depression or major life transitions, I've seen the strength and potential for growth in every story.
As an immigrant myself, I understand the importance of finding a supportive community and adapting to new environments, especially for those who are also navigating similar paths.
I have undergone extensive training and gained expertise in a wide range of evidence-based therapies over the past 8 years. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
I offer individualized treatment for each client, which means I tailor my intervention to your personality and goals.
As a registered and certified member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ), I respect the ethical framework of the psychology profession.
To maintain my professional development, I take part in ongoing training.
Moreover, I regularly participate in clinical supervisions and consultations with other specialized practitioners, and I place great importance on both activities, as they enable me to continue to develop as a practitioner in order to offer my clients a highly professional and personalized experience.
Warm regards,
Racha,
